I have diabetes; can I still participate in your weight loss program?

Absolutely! Our meal plans are designed to keep blood sugar stable, making it easier for your body to burn fat faster, and have more consistent energy throughout your day. We have had patients take their Hemoglobin A1c from 8.8 fasting glucose 188, down to 5.7 fasting glucose 77, within 3 months.

How much weight can I expect to lose weekly?

Depending on body composition testing, as well as meal planning, average loss per patients 3-5lbs every week.

Are there any age restrictions?

Yes, age 16 to 90.

How healthy is your weight loss program?

We utilize high protein, low carbohydrate meal planning. Doing so helps the body process (i.e. water balancing, transporting nutrients), and prevents one from becoming easily fatigued by producing stamina and energy. Our meal replacements have over 200% of Recommended Daily Allowance of all vitamins, minerals and amino acids. What is “body composition” vs. the traditional BMI?

Body composition measures lean body mass (Muscle, fluid, tissue and bones), healthy fat, and excess body fat to a hundredth of a pound. When you have this data you're able to take the “guessing” out of meal planning. Using your data we then calculate how many grams of protein, carbohydrates, and fats your body needs to not only fuel but burn excess body fat. BMI (Body mass index) unfortunately cannot accurately give you this data. Person X has a height of 5’8” and weighs 165 lbs. this patient has a BMI of 26, which is overweight on the BMI scale. Requested weight loss of 10 lbs. same patient does a body composition test measuring his percentage fat at 10.27% (16.8 lbs of fat).

How many calories do I get a day?

Depending on body composition, an average daily caloric intake would be approx. 850-1200 calories. We never go under 800 calories… that’s starvation!
